Another International Success from Nilus Engineering Founder Damla Uluocak!
Our founder Damla Uluocak laid the foundations of Nilus Engineering three years ago. In this short period of time, our company has undertaken many projects in the field of robotic automation that add value to both the industry and society. We are getting stronger every day with our expertise, hard work and belief in women entrepreneurship. We demonstrate our engineering quality in robotic automation projects with our domestic and innovative solutions.
Today, we are proud to share with you a very important achievement in this journey. Our founder Damla Uluocak was honoured with a prestigious award given by the United Nations Women (UN Women). This award once again emphasises the power of women entrepreneurship and shows that Nilus’ visionary leadership is appreciated on international platforms. It has a special meaning for us that a company operating in the field of robotic automation is deemed worthy of such a prestigious award.
In addition, Damla Uluocak will represent Turkey at the EBAN (European Business Angel Network) Congress. While normally two companies were planned to be selected, this year only Nilus Engineering was selected. This shows that our company will be the voice of Turkey in the international startup ecosystem. Our national and international experience in robotic automation is the cornerstone of this success.
Within the scope of the ‘EXPO Capital Quest’ programme carried out in cooperation with UN Women Europe and Central Asia Office and EBAN, only 15 women entrepreneurs from Europe and Central Asia region were selected. These outstanding entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present to international investors, meet with angel investors and gain visibility in the global startup ecosystem.
It is a great source of motivation for us to take part in these platforms representing women’s leadership in a male-dominated industry such as robotic automation. We sincerely congratulate Damla Uluocak for this proud achievement and emphasise that we will continue to support women’s leadership and technology-oriented entrepreneurship.
